With close to 100 retailers, The Outlet Collection at Niagara is Canada’s largest open-air outlet shopping centre. Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, off the QEW, the Outlet Collection opened in May 2014 with over 520,000 square feet, expanding in 2016 to reach 562,000 square feet.

The original site for this sweeping retail project consisted of 140 acres – 64 of which were designated for the Outlet Collection and a remaining 76 earmarked for future development.

Working with both the residential developer and Ivanhoé Cambridge, owner of the Outlet Collection, Searles Surveying provided a broad range of Surveying Services for both the retail and residential development, involving the preparation of Land Titles Reference Plans describing the lands to be severed and retained, the creation of Land Division Sketches and associated Reference Plans to support long-term lease applications, the development of a Subdivision Plan for a residential zone, the completion of Topographic Surveys to monitor earthworks, the preparation of monthly volume certificates, and preliminary construction layout.
